United by their passion for beauty and the joy of live performance, Dr. Weichen Lin and Dr. Lynn Vartan formed Duo LinLynn to engage audiences through performance and education. Their collaboration has taken them to stages in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Australia, California, Pennsylvenia, Montana, and Utah, and they have also shared their expertise as judges and instructors at festivals and competitions around the continents. They are deeply committed to nurturing musicians’ unique identities, believing that these authentic voices create genuine connections with audiences.
In addition to their inspiring performances and teachings, Duo LinLynn's debut album, 'Stars Above,' has garnered significant acclaims. The album was awarded the Gold Medal at the 2024 Global Music Awards and achieved second place at the 2025 American Prize (Chamber Performance - Professional Division.) These accolades reflect their dedication to excellence and their passion for sharing meaningful music with the world.

Taiwan-Mongolia Liaison
Project No.2
The Taiwan-Mongolian Liaison was initiated by Dr. Weichen Lin during his tenure at National Chiayi University. It began with Dr. Lin’s first visit to the Mongolian State Conservatory in 2023, which led to the invitation of the Conservatory’s percussion ensemble to Taiwan the following year. During this exchange trip, the two institutions signed a sister-school agreement and presented a joint premiere concert at National Chiayi University. In 2025, National Chiayi University Music Department reciprocated with a historic visit to Mongolia, marking the first bilateral exchange between the two schools and laying a significant foundation for long-term collaboration in music education and cultural exchange.

Romance of Resonance
Project 3 - Romance of Resonance
“Romance of Resonance” is a marimba solo concert series created by Dr. Weichen Lin beginning in 2025.
This series stems from his deep appreciation and refined taste for the marimba’s timbre and solo repertoire. Through the careful selection of works and instrument setups that best highlight the marimba’s resonant qualities, the instrument’s sound is allowed to bloom and shine vividly within each performance space.
With every concert, Weichen Lin aims to open the audience’s ears and imagination to the marimba, allowing listeners to experience the instrument’s rich emotional depth and tonal expression. Ultimately, he hopes to foster a deeper connection and resonance—not only between the audience and the music, but also among the instrument, the performer, and the space and acoustics they share.
